# Delete a review

DELETE https://v1.api.partnerpage.io/api/directory/private/v1alpha/reviews/directory/{directoryId}/{reviewId}/

Hard-delete a review belonging to this directory. The row is removed from the database (audit history is still retained via `django-simple-history`). Deleting an approved review also recomputes the parent partner entry's aggregate rating and review counts, so the review disappears from the public `GET /reviews/{directory_id}/{slug}/` listing immediately. Requires the `generic_directory:delete_reviews` permission.

## Request

### Path parameters

- `directoryId` (string, required) — UUID of the generic directory that owns the review.
- `reviewId` (string, required) — UUID of the review to delete.

## Response

### 204

Review deleted; empty response body.

### 401 Unauthorized Error

Authentication credentials were not provided or are invalid.

Caller is not the owner of this directory, or lacks `generic_directory:delete_reviews`.

No review matches `review_id` in this directory (also returned on a repeated delete).
